GERB do Brasil has been established as a 100% subsidiary in Sao Paulo in 1990 with the aim to develop the Brazilian market for GERB as well as to introduce the GERB technology to Brazil.
As of today more than 1,500 companies are our customers and more than 3,000 machines or equipment have been elastically supported.

Our main areas of activities are:

1) Machinery - and building isolation

• consulting by experienced engineers in the planning and design of machine foundations
• planning and design of tailor-made machine foundations, incl. static and dynamic analysis
• supply of detailed construction drawings and on customers' request supervision and acceptance of the construction work.
• quotations, manufacturing of spring elements and Viscodampers®, erection services as well as measurements for vibration -, structure-borne noise - and noise control (on customer's request).

• 2000 - elastic support of each 5 presses, manufacturer SCHULER resp. CLEARING. Installed at BSB Polynorm by FORD Amazon, Camaçari - BA

2) Vibration Isolation of trackbeds

• consulting by qualified engineers in the planning and design of floating trackbed systems
• planning and design of tailor-made mass-spring-systems, incl. static and dynamic analysis
• supply of detailed construction drawings and on customers' request supervision and acceptance of the construction work
• quotations, manufacturing of spring elements and Viscodampers®, erection services as well as measurements on customer's request.

• 1998 - Floating trackbed system (2 tracks) in a tunnel of the 3rd line "Extensão Leste" of METRÔ São Paulo. Track length: 488m with GERB mass-spring-system;
• 1999 / 2000 - Floating trackbed system (2 tracks) in a tunnel of METRÔ Brasilia for the line section "Galeria dos Estados". Track length: 290m with GERB mass-spring-system;
• 2001 - Elevated track (2 tracks) of the 5th line "Capão Redondo Largo Treze" in São Paulo. 6,200m mass-spring-system with Getzner linear support bearings.

3) Industrial Noise Control

• Consulting and Design (incl. measurements), engineering, drawings, manufacturing and supply of:
• Blow-off silencers,
• Duct silencers,
• Cooling Tower silencers
• Noise control detuner,
• Enclosures.
