GERB (Qingdao) Vibration Control Systems Co., Ltd. has been
set up in December 1997 as a 100% subsidiary in Qingdao, Shandong
Province to develop the Chinese market for vibration control.
At GERB (Qingdao) we cover the full range of services provided
generally by GERB worldwide:
- consultation for the design and the construction of machine foundations and trackbed systems
- planning and design of tailor-made machine foundations resp. mass-spring-systems, incl. static and dynamic analysis
- supply of detailed construction drawings and on customer's request also supervision and acceptance of the construction work
- quotations, manufacturing of spring elements and Viscodampers®, erection services as well as measurements for vibration -, structure-borne noise - and noise control (on customers' request).

- 2002 - reconstruction of the foundation for 2 hydraulic presses at Harbin Electric Motor Works, Harbin, Heilongjiang Province
- 2002 - reconstruction of the foundation for 1 hydraulic Try-Out press at Shanghai Ogihara Die Co., Shanghai
- 2002 - 2 ERFURT blanking presses modified from conventional support to elastic support on spring elements at FAW VW Co. Ltd., Changchun, Jilin Province
- 2002 - modification of 1 press line (Russian make) from conventional foundation to elastic support on spring elements at FAW Car Body Works, Changchun, Jilin Province
3) Vibration Isolation for Power Plant Equipment
- 1998 - supply of spring elements for the steam turbines, the condenser as well as the boiler feed pumps at Hefei No. II Power Plant (2 x 350 MW) - Hefei, Anhui Province
- 2000 - supply of spring elements for the boiler feed pumps at Huaneng Dezhou Power Plant (2 x 350 MW) - Dezhou, Shandong Province
- 2000 - supply of spring elements for the boiler feed pumps at WaiGaoQiao No. II Power Plant (2 x 900 MW) - Shanghai
- 2001/2002 - supply of spring elements for the steam turbines at Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant (2 x 1000 MW) - Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province
- 2002 - supply of spring elements for the boiler feed pumps at Taishan Power Plant (2 x 600 MW) - Taishan, Guangdong Province

4. Mass-Spring-Systems for Trackbeds
- 2002 - floating trackbed (3 tracks) at Beijing XiZhiMen Railway Station - final station on the north-western end of the newly-built commuter line No. 13 - track length: 3 x 126 m with GERB mass-spring-system, type K
- 2002 - elastic support of 3 railway bridges running through the Control Center Building just ahead of Beijing XiZhiMen Railway Station - track length: 3 x 75 m
- 2002 - floating trackbed system (2 tracks) at Beijing HePingLi Railway Station - final station at the north-eastern end of the newly-built commuter line No. 13 - track length: 2 x 120m GERB mass-spring-system, type GSI
