GERB Engineering GmbH
GERB Engineering GmbH was founded in 1974 to take care of
civil engineering work within the GERB Group. Nowadays, the main
tasks can be found in nearly all parts of structural dynamics. The
protection of humans, buildings, equipment and machinery against
vibrations has become the most important aspect of the daily work.
Today the most frequent sources of vibrations are:
- Machines (e.g. for power generation or metal forming)
- Traffic (e.g. railways, pedestrians)
- Nature (e.g. earthquake and wind)
Vibration measurements and computer simulations are some of the
tools for the assessment of existing vibrations or expected emissions.
Depending on the actual circumstances - in order to find solutions
for the reduction of vibrations - a close co-operation with the
customer may become necessary.
GERB Engineering provides consulting - both for individual
measures as well as for the supply of a complete design package.
