Introducing: NOVO-U-GUARD Floating Floor

The NOVODAMP® Floating Floor Turn-Key Solution for Superior Vibration and Sound Isolation

The NOVO-U-GUARD system is a ready-to-install floating floor solution, designed to drastically reduce structure-borne noise and vibration in buildings and extensions. Utilizing high-performance NOVODAMP® closed-cell polyurethane pads, NOVO-U-GUARD ensures both comfort and acoustic excellence across a wide range of structural applications.

The steel U-profiles are pre-equipped with the required pads tailored to the specified load requirements, allowing you to effortlessly
position the entire rail onto the floor.

The Standard Solution

The standard configuration includes our NOVODAMP® material with dimensions of 100 x 100 x 50 mm. Depending on your dead load and live load requirements, one of the six available options will be an ideal fit for your application:

Why Choose NOVO-U-GUARD?

  • All-in-One System: Pre-configured steel U-profiles come equipped with tailored NOVODAMP® pads for fast and precise installation—no guesswork required.
  • Effective Sound and Vibration Isolation: With insertion loss values over 30 dB (4–160 Hz) and impact sound reduction over 35 dB (50–5000 Hz), NOVO-U-GUARD helps create quiet, high-performance environments.
  • Reliable Under Load: Available in six variants optimized for different dead and live load combinations (ranging from 1.5 to 7.5 kN/m²), equivalent to floor systems of about 10–30 cm concrete height.
  • Robust Performance: The system deflects only 5 mm under dynamic loads, operates at a low natural frequency (~8 Hz), and resists water and fire in accordance with DIN standards.
