Vibrations can be controlled – wherever they occur

Vibration control for industrial machinery

Protect your machinery from excessive vibration

Assemblies of machines and sensitive facilities are often affected by undue or disturbing vibrations. Elastic support is useful in such cases.

Industrial crushers, cement mills, printing machines, textile machines, or centrifuges are typical examples for the use of active vibration control (control at the source). Vibrations and structure-borne noise due to the use of such machines can clearly be reduced with elastic support. Peripheral equipment, such as fans, pumps, compressors, motor aggregates, and transformers are now commonly supported with elastic foundations.

For roll grinding machines, tool machines, test machines, and measuring devices, GERB has solutions for passive vibration protection (protection from external vibration).

Our solutions are technically and economically optimised for

Spring elements made of high fatigue-strength steel springs and wear-free Viscodampers® enable a reduction of vibrations up to 99 % in some applications. Depending on the type of vibrational loads and requirements, some machines can be directly supported by springs, while others are supported elastically with an additional foundation.
